Spokeswoman Lila Rose had posted videos proving that a caller offered donations to Planned Parenthood on the basis of using the money to abort black babies; and that the organization accepted the offer, in some cases "gleefully." But YouTube, according to a report from LifeNews.com, has blocked four videos over the past two months, labeling them as "inappropriate content."

For the past three decades, these guardians of the sacred codes of political correctness have been lecturing us about the patronizing treatment of women, telling us that any whiff of disparaging or discriminatory innuendo is evidence of full-blown sexism and actionable in the court of public opinion.

Yet, when Sarah Palin comes along and injects her pretty conservative countenance into the public square, she and her family are immediately fair game for the liberal talking class.

They can violate every last one of their strictures against sexism with liberal fraternal impunity. It's so striking that a casual observer, unaware of the liberal penchant for double standards and an absence of self-reflection, might think he were witnessing satire. Surely, liberals wouldn't openly embarrass themselves with such contradictory behavior.

But sadly, they are dead serious, and their mission is to destroy Sarah Palin, whom they recognize as a threat to their grandiose plans for the coming political order under Barack Obama.

The Advocate is waiting for responses from Idaho and Ohio before releasing recordings from Planned Parenthood organizations in several other states, she said. In the meantime, the magazine is calling for UCLA to cut its ties with Planned Parenthood.

It is legal in Idaho for someone who makes a phone call to secretly tape it.

Defense attorneys call it entrapment, and police officers and their commanders can lose their jobs over it. Also, I agree that the part you quoted is pertinent, but I do try to not fill up the LJ threads of my friends. ;-)

What is worse here? That a closet racist is capable of finding employment with Planned Parenthood, or that a bunch of teenagers (using that loosely) can make crank calls on the college's dime and use deception in the hope of catching someone off balance?

If the employee in the article was indeed a racist, then I have no doubt PP would have fired her. That they didn't tells me that they are not going to blame her for being flustered. In the meantime, she is being slandered by youngsters making assumptions on no evidence but what they manufactured.

I ask sincerely: are you condoning what those kids are doing?

Well, yes, actually. The isn't the only instance... Kersey's response was just the most eager. I saw this story when it first broke and read several of the other transcripts while they were all still readily available. If they were jumping on the single person who apparently was willing to accept it and tainting an entire organization for her response alone? Yeah, I wouldn't be in favor of that. But several cases in multiple states? When does 'anecdote' become 'data'?

The person who masterminded this also visited several Planned Parenthood clinics with a recording device and claimed clearly to be a pregnant 15-year-old with a 23-year-old boyfriend. Over and over again, they refused to list the information and took no action, even though they're technically required by law to report sexual abuse of a minor.

I do believe that in this country, not yet a socialist nation, if the government will not investigate charges of misconduct then a citizen surely should be allowed to take legal actions to learn and disseminate their own information, especially when it's backed up with hard evidence rather than vague rumor. I feel the same way whether somebody is discovering racism in abortion clinics, refusal of life-saving services in religious hospitals, or just breaking the law on consumer returns of non-perishable goods.
